Texas Hold'Em is a community-card poker variant in which each player receives 2 down cards. A flop of 3 cards is dealt face up, followed by a single face-up card (the turn), and a final face-up card (the river). The best 5 card poker hand, using any of the player's 2 cards and the 5 community cards, wins. There is a round of betting after the deal, and after the flop, turn, and river.
