comment What does the Dealer button have to do with the dealer?
The button represents who should be dealer when there isn't a dedicated dealer. ????? Oh man that sounds maybe real for you but its not. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Button_%28poker%29 just read why there is a dealer.

comment Bet sizes in Limit Texas Hold'em in cases of a players all-in
If 5 is the bigblind, what is the small blind ? 2 and a half ? If there is a cashgame, not Sit and go, you can't buy in with strange number like 100 euro and 2 cents if blinds are 5/10 (small/big) you can only buy in with a number of bigblinds. When it comes to a split pot with 3 persons including a folded small blind you can have 25 split into 3 which resulsts in a 12,5 to both yea sorry agree strange numbers can appear out of this. but normally someone gifts the coin to the dealer or next player ;)

comment How this hand should have been played?
You are doing wrong. Your maths says that it is not possible that someone holds 8 or K. You cant substract the cards you don't see. assume that you have a 20 player poker table. than the flop comes exactly like this and you have only turn and river left, so 9 cards left. so you calculate 52-43 = 9 and than your math to it. 8/9 and than you have ~90% chance to hit the straight. which is bullshit. Because in fact right now the other players can hold the cards you need.

comment Are non-standard verbal declarations such as “same bet” or “I put you all-in” binding?

comment Research on the effect of a screen name or avatar in online poker
in real life tournaments i always went in black with a Punisher hoody, I was ranked 5 out of some hundreds and a real bunch of people were watching the tournament. After that I was recognized as "the punisher" by everyone, even though I didn't wear the hoody in all casinos around. That is like a nickname as well. Just a side story

comment What if a home game player is physically unable to deal? Skip or substitute?
sorry but this sounds stupid. of course someone deals for your friend. and he has dealer button. it's like he has no hands, so shall we help him to drink water by holding the bottle...of course man. sorry but i guess that's why downvote.

comment How to deal with overcards in the flop
Exacto Mundo, nearly only another Q will improve your hand and since you already have 2 there are just 2 left in :P. So overbet will be fine. ready to die to stay alive.

comment How can I use a player's decision to check blindly on the flop as a tell?
you will never know what they play, but the info you get is that they def. dont have the biggest or the smallest hand :). I would always guess for a small pair or something with draw potential. like 89s . not QQ not KK not AA etc. no JKs. its always the same player, so just check how he plays the rest of the tournament. it's more player based then poker i guess.
