Do you have favourite hole cards - and do these change over time Yeah, you should definitely avoid playing hands because they are "lucky." I used to think KJo was my favorite hand (still gets my blood pumping), but I have learned to *fold these hands for any value other than that they are profitable in a position is poor judgment. Edit - Spelling error. |

Online Poker League I wish I knew some. I would even play for fun. I tried to start one on BluffAve but I can't get people I know to commit. |

Should I call all-in here with bottom set? +EV isn't always +EV. If you've got your opponent covered, I think a call is the best move here. You're probably leading as QQ or 99 are all that have you beat at this moment (with no preflop raise, I don't see anyone holding). If you can claim a knockout here with the best odd's, get it AI. But if you're short stacked/tournament life on the line, there are definitely better spots to pick (better than 2:3) if they have a straight+/flush draw(s). |

Straight + Flush draw on flop, is all-in worth to play? Best, most detailed answer IMO. Was going to do the same myself before I saw your answer. Good job! |

Poker Academy Pro or an alternative The company does not exist, therefore there is no way to gain an activation code. I am currently compiling a list for a relevant software. Are you looking for native software or will training sites do as well? |

$1/$2 Live - Bottom set on flop and facing 3bet You can definitely count out JJ/88 because of his initial limp. T9x fits pretty well with a limp/call and then a 3-bet after the flop. He didn't display much strength on the flop and then reps the nuts. He's probably got it. Definitely a tough fold though against a LAG player like that, though. |

Is Small Ball Poker In Cash Games A Good Strategy? Correct, I guess I wasn't really sure how popular it is. I guess I was just looking for some insight from experienced tournament players. I'm looking to get into more tournaments at casinos and am trying to learn some of what to expect. |
