Why is it easier to make a flush than a straight with four cards already matching? @jhericks as I understand it, yes. 16 combinations of 2x/5x, and 16 combinations of 5x/7x for 32 outs on the straight. |

Is there a comprehensive source for poker terminology? Given the variety of great answers, I believe we should keep an eye on this and convert to Community Wiki at some point, after consolidating the information from the various answers into a single (relatively) comprehensive glossary. |

How do you hide your tells? @user988052 Yes, if you are doing it deliberately, its not a tell, but the idea is to mask the unintentional tells with intentional tells, so your opponents have to guess which are real and which are fake. This would be for live games (Michael McGowan added the Live tag, but I will edit further to clarify). |
