By day I work as a programmer/CEO/one-man-show at a small software development company called Interware Innovations. In my spare time, I'm the CEO of an online poker training site: Grinderschool.com

comment (Simple?) 3-bet Scenario
Awesome question. I don't have time to do it justice right now, but I will try to return with a well-developed answer. My hand preference is going to depend a bit on my reads on my opponent and what range he would bet/call with here.

This makes sense for limit. For no limit, you don't need this many players in the pot to have enough "set equity"

comment Classic Books for Texas Hold'Em
@moteutsch I said it was a good book if you wanted to get a solid foundation on other games. It's not good if all you want is info on NLHE. Brunson's writing may have a lot to be desired, but the stuff from many of the other authors is pretty darn good. You can play Razz profitably the second you're done reading that chapter, for instance.

comment Tricky Tournament Bubble Situation
It sounds like you're very slightly in favor of a fold, but consider it a very fine line. I'm slightly in favor of getting it in, but also consider it a very fine line. Either way, I agree that my student screwed up on bet-sizing here. Full pot as a c-bet commits his stack sufficiently to make this an easy call. I assume that's your thought here as well?

comment Is it possible to play for real money online in the US?
I realize that you added an edit to show that you were wrong, but this would be far better edited if you removed and/or added strikeout to the first few lines.
