What's the order for showdown? Damn. That's just too bad. |

What's the order for showdown? John, where do you play? A lot of casinos won't allow a one card show for the pot unless all players have already mucked to you. Just curious. |

What's the order for showdown? @rodrigoq I should also say, I assumed you were talking about a cash game. In tournaments, usually both hands have to show no matter what if it's an all in. |

What's the order for showdown? Very true. Most times the order isn't an issue and the winning hand just shows. If my hand is pretty sure to be the best I don't waste people's time. Sure, it's nice to gain information, but you want people to enjoy losing their money to you. |

Are mucked and burnt cards significant in odds calculation? Don't feel bad. Every poker player has thought about this before. |

Set Mining: betting pre flop with 22+ Ha. I'm glad 1-2 is universal. However, I feel as if it's making me a stupid poker player because my play becomes very simplistic. |

Set Mining: betting pre flop with 22+ Chances of flopping a set = 8:1. I'm getting at least three to four callers in a game where people only 3 bet QQ, KK, AA. The stacks are deep. When I do flop the set I constantly make 10x my original bet. See how I'm making 2 extra bets minimum? I'm not burning money. You also don't bluff in this game. Especially in a multi way pot. People call with middle pair no problem. |

Set Mining: betting pre flop with 22+ Toby, I feel as if the 1/2 game here in Oklahoma might be a little different than you think. 3 betting pre flop rarely happens. This is a loose game pre flop. Every raise has three to four callers minimum. That's why with small pocket pairs it's a hit and bet or miss and check strategy. The purpose of the pre flop bet is to build a big pot for the set. When I was talking about the 10 to 1 rule I was speaking to implied odds. This is a deep stack game that has few short stacks. Most players have 100bb minimum. Everyone is a calling station. You don't bluff in this game. |

Set Mining: betting pre flop with 22+ Ha. You haven't played much 1/2 have you? Every raise gets called. I see a pre flop raise take the blinds once a session, maybe. |
