@Mew You have the start of a good answer there. Would you mind turning it into one ?

You just put me in a very hard situation: on the one hand, this is an excellent question whose answers can delve deep into the very core of poker. It would be beautiful. On the other hand, I strongly feel I have to close it since it's kind of broad. I'll try to edit it in order to keep it open because it's a really great topic.

comment What is the minimum raise after an all-in?
From what I know, in the situation you presented (player 3 has 700 and goes all-in), player 4 must raise a minimum of 600 - 200 = 400 more chips on top of player 3's total, so raise to 1100. But I would have to find some rulebook to be certain and I will post it as an answer in that case.

comment How long does it usually take for an online tournament to start?
@TmKVU You can register and then leave the poker client open. When the tournament starts, the table you're assigned at will automatically appear on your screen. Good luck.
