Are seat re-assignments random in multi-table tournaments? "it varies from from one casino to the next". What about WSOP, WSOPE, WPT, EPT etc. ? I googled it and couldn't find anything... |

Best way to play poker online for playchips I believe that, if you're in the US, you can't play on PokerStars with real money... the question is about virtual money... or am I missing something ? |

Should I call opponent's flop re-raise with trips? @Jeffrey The intentions of that bigger bet (more than $60) is to decrease the chance that the opponent will raise (because it's more than the pot), and increase the chance he will only call. Maybe you trigger some defensive protection in him or something... By doing this, you can see the turn cheaper and have a better picture about where you stand in that hand. If you don't agree, it's perfect. It's poker, not math. |

Should I call opponent's flop re-raise with trips? That's why you gave me a -1 ? |

Are seat re-assignments random in multi-table tournaments? Thanks for your answer. Fairness does indeed seem important in these cases, I wouldn't want to play a hand in the big blind and then be moved to a table where I'm again in the big blind. |

Easy to memorize starting hand strategy down-voter, state your complaint. |

Easy to memorize starting hand strategy It's a good thing to have something like that but the fact is that you only get hands that fit that criteria rarely. |

NL600: River Decision IP vs TAG 3 Barrel I'm pretty sure this is an instant fold. MP bets a huge amount on the river, you can't commit that much money with just a pair of fives. From what you've said, his range is somewhat wider, but not by that much... |

Why is 7c2d a semi-bluff? It does look more like a bluff to me too, rather than a semi-bluff. The problem arises when one (or more) of the limpers call you or worse: he re-raises you (maybe he was slow-playing a monster pre-flop). You'll then have to either fold (and lose those $40) or invest even more and go to the flop out of position with a garbage hand. |

Inactive player problem: Where should the money be distributed in this situation? I would just take the money and buy a few drinks for everyone at the table (myself included). For the dealer too... |
