What happens if the card wasn't burned? The only thing I don't like about leaving the card "up" is that it could seriously affect the odds of the hand. Consider you have a high pair with an A on the board. If the "oops" card were an A, then you have gained SIGNIFICANTLY from the revealed card. <br> if the card were to have simply been used it would have only removed some of the "faux randomness" that burning promotes. |

Is there an optimum formula for deciding chip denominations? This is how I have been setting up my home games it scales well to the crowd. (1n + 2n + 5n + 10n + 20n) n = .10c for micro stakes, 1$ for regular stakes, and $10 for med-high stakes. |

How often will pocket aces lose to 4 flush or set after the flop? I would agree with Ivan, but while observing Chris' point. You want to bet sufficiently to weed out those limping in. |

Easy to memorize starting hand strategy ^ It's very important to note that with suited connectors, the more people who fold the worse value your hand has. So don't go bet crazy! |

Starting a Friendly Poker Ring How would re-buying into a tourney work? They pay the entry again and get the starting stack again? Also, where would you draw the line to not buy in? Time limit? |
