Publicly available poker stats Plenty of individual players have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of hands in their databases (I have somewhere around 400k and my volume was never that great). Problem is, they won't give it away without a huge price because of all of the valuable information it has. |

Should I call all-in here with bottom set? @SoboLAN You shouldn't make decisions based on being cautious - you should be playing low enough stakes to not be afraid of losing a few buy-ins due to running bad. Also, at the end of the day a decision is either +EV or not (or more +EV relative to other options) and that is all that matters. High variance situations can suck sometimes, but if the call is profitable, you should make the call. |

Should I call all-in here with bottom set? Lots of $1/$3 players will limp AK preflop because they (very much incorrectly) claim it to be a "drawing hand." The range you assigned villain has no hands that are better than ours so we definitely shouldn't be folding vs that range. In fact, if I take the best hands in that range, it would be a huge mistake to fold: Board: Qd 2d 9c { 2c2s } Hand 0: 64.798% { Ad9d, KdQd, JdTd } Hand 1: 35.202% |

200nl - Flop top two on wet board and get squeezed OOP deep @SoboLAN Yes. The turn spot is pretty interesting too actually, maybe I'll edit the question later so we can talk about that too. |

200nl - Flop top two on wet board and get squeezed OOP deep @TobyBooth Don't be afraid to include your own answer then. To stir the pot, I'll say that I think raising is the worst option. And while it seems we have little to no information on the villain we have more info on him than we think. |

200nl - Flop top two on wet board and get squeezed OOP deep By "first hand" I meant that it was my first hand at the table. The other players at the table have already been playing for a while and I just got dealt in. I'm not sure if this changes your answer at all but I wanted to be clear about that. |

Did I play this correctly? $1-2 NL Holdem Shove the turn, not river. This would be an abysmal river to shove. |

Did I play this correctly? $1-2 NL Holdem Frankly, I don't understand yours. If you really knew one had a King on the turn you should be shoving because $1/$2 players find it really difficult to fold trips, especially fish. It would be a slight overbet but not that much, around $142 or so into about $114. The king would have sucked out on this particular river, but you're ahead on a vast majority of rivers and want to get in more money sooner. |

NL100: 2-Pair In 4-Way Pot Facing OOP Lead @ Wet Flop I think a really small bet (like $10) is much more likely to induce a bluff-raise OTR than a size greater than half pot. Either way, I don't give most 100nl regs credit for that sort of move so I would fold and take a note. And honestly if someone does make that sort of move it is likely to be unbalanced which would allow us to exploit the villain in the future. |
