@RayofCommand: While that question deals with tax that are withheld from the payout, it isn't a duplicate of this question.

comment How to deal with overcards in the flop
If you do this consistently, you will have to watch for the people who will call with anything in order to take it away from you on later streets. As with anything in poker, don't do the same thing every time! :-)

comment Why offer guaranteed prize pools?
Well, the reason that you want to play in a guarantee even when there are more people than required in order to make the guarantee is that you are able to play in a tournament with enough entries to have a prize pool worth playing. Yes, if they didn't make the guarantee it is even better, but if they didn't offer it, instead of being guaranteed a, say, 10K prize pool, you may only be playing against enough people to make a $3K prize pool without it being worth your time to play at all.

@user814064: Correct, but this is to be dealt a particular hand twice in a row. I'll clarify.

@emanuele: I calculated pot odds and not ICM because he did not include information such as number of players and stack sizes. You are making assumptions and can not possibly calculate equity with the information that was provided.

Well, he does say that he is using a hand recorder and a HUD. As well as being tagged with pokertracker and holdemmanager. I'm not sure why you think he's referring to the poker room stats. :-)

When describing the number of flops seen by position, you should certainly be seeing more flops from late position than from early position. UTG should be seeing the fewest, with an almost linear increase through the button where you see the most. Position is power. Also, you can always improve your game, so I disagree with the philosophy that "if you are winning, don't worry about it". Wouldn't you like to win more?
