Completed my Software Engineering degree at Staffordshire University in 2004.
Took a break from coding until 2012 where I got my first official development role.
Outside of work I like to play Poker, Computer Games and I am the proud owner of a Tottenham Hotspur season ticket.

Determining the proper play on the turn I think the biggest mistake here was not 3-betting pre flop. You can be pretty sure that the 10 9 would have folded to a 3-bet pre flop! |

Determining the proper play on the turn What was the result in the end? Did you shove and get called? |

Is it advantageous to buy into a NL cash game at the maximum amount? @Bogdan its possible, just highly unlikely. It could be that one guy had dominated the table and then left leaving everyone with depleted chipstacks. If you play microstakes you quite often see a table full of people with less than the min buyin |

What is the best strategy once you are chip leader in a tournament? All I am saying is that you dont need to be taking these unecessary flips. Its all player dependant. If someone is less than 10bb then sure call with AK since they have such a wide range. Whereas if you have been on the same table as the guy for an hour and its the first time he's played aggressively then the chances are he already has a hand thats beating yours. |
