What are the odds of getting the same four-of-a-kind twice in a row? You are right to say that this particular question about quads has a precise answer. I was really alluding to the conceptual broadness of the question. You could equally ask the same thing and substitute "four-of-a-kind" with any other combination of hand types, like two-pair, sets, etc. The conceptual scope of an odds question like this covers so much, and yet your specific question covers so little to be of any use to many others. That is unless it helps to plan on hitting back-to-back quads regularly (and I do!). |

NL600: River Decision OOP vs Thinking Regular At Very Wet Board What you deem a quality post is not necessarily the same as me. And yes, I'm more judicious with my approval than most. I may seem harsh, but I'm fair. Also, like you say, it's early in the beta. Most of my own questions have one, maybe two responses, even though 200+ committals are supposedly active on this site. I'm allowing time to gather more perspectives before I decide to "accept". I wonder if that's even possible for a hand history?! That said I'm always open to advice and I'll review all my activities and perhaps be more of a 'beta liberal' with the praise! |
