You'd very likely get a faster response from the Pokerstars support team. as Chris Farmer mentioned.

comment How can a poker player alter their strategy to exploit java.util.Random
A suggestion has been made that this Q is moved elsewhere, like Security. Perhaps post it over there too if you can't get an suitable answer here, Richard.

comment Is playing safer poker, safer?
What exactly are you asking as I don't seem to see a clear question here. Is it possible you can ask something specific from this? You'll have some time to edit it into a question, otherwise it will be closed. If this is relating to a poor run of cards, EVERYBODY here will at some point have experienced that. Perhaps this question "Here" will help. Educating yourself about the natural variance in the game, which is a lot, will help you overcome this detrimental type of thinking.

What is the suit of the Ace river? Are there 3 of a suit in the community cards?

comment Can I bet on who I think will win the hand at a casino?
@ChrisFarmer Your comment is probably enough to be warranted as an answer. It may be short but it seems appropriate enough to convert it.

comment High Card only count
Not entirely sure what you mean? Any hand without at least a pair is a "high card" hand. Are you looking for a formula to calculate how many there are?

comment Problem with a hand in Texas hold'em
This answer is somewhat unclear. Ido, Can you clarify your meaning with less arrows and more plain language? It's likely that the previous answers are clear enough to cover the questions needs anyway.

Are you trying to estimate the likely finishing place in a tournament, if the player in focus does not act any more, taking into account ante structure & chip-stack? I ask because a suitable question in the title would likely draw more exposure to what could be a useful thread.

comment What would happen in a professional tournament if a player was obviously taking performance enhancing drugs?
If its against the law, it's irrelevant to the field it's being used in. Drug use should inevitably lead to disqualification.

comment How Gus Hansen came up with 30%?
@jimbeam My edit is wrong? So 4.00-1 is equivalent to 50% according to your calculation method.

@JimBeam Hmm. You're right, it's confusing. I have no idea how I got these thousands of points. I'll start with yours. ;)

@jim-beam Are you not going to edit your answer to correct the method by which you calculate the equity required?

comment How Gus Hansen came up with 30%?
@jim-beam 2.36-1 is not 33.6%, and the method you use (moving the decimal point) is also incorrect. Adding 1 to the pot odds is fine and gives the "decimal" representation of the odds, 3.36. To get the percentage, divide 1 by the decimal. Ie. 1/3.36 = 0.298 (29.8%)

Probably, just add a short link/explanation of what a kill game is.

comment Kill game, how does it change your starting hand value?
Perhaps there is no need for those distinctions Jon, as the voting system would filter out poor answers anyway.

comment Split staight between players
Hi @user1693, Poker.SE is a good place to find out this stuff. Use the search box at the top the site first to see if your question has already been asked by someone else. In this case, using the search term "split pot" yielded at least two decent results, Does This Qualify As A Split Pot? & What is the“Top Five Cards” rule and how does it apply to splitting pots?. If you can't find the answers you need, please create your own question. I hope that helps :)
