Plus they also do jackpot drops, just like most games in most cardrooms. Of course they do downs in high limits games, that's standard. But downs in every game? No - your CA info is just plain wrong.

Licensed card rooms in CA can't take rake, only time, so they came up with every "time" they deal a hand they take revenue. In Nevada in high limit games, they often take time from the blinds, so what JB says might be true, accept in high limit games they don't often chop blinds.
