Both of you have Ace high Straight with the best 5 cards, so it is a split pot.
It doesn't matter if the cards are in your hand or on the board.

Why call with the top X% of your range when being laid X% pot odds (by an opponent playing G...
JL approaches this hand from two POVs. I don't think the villain here knows the hero's actually betting range. (this is my interpretation of JL's material).
Also, its good to note that achieving GTO …

Do top hands also have the top expected winnings?
I agree with Timmermans that knowing average tendencies is not very useful as a whole. Some people can play low pockets (or other mid-value hands) well, some can't. Your job is to figure out whether y …

"What does the player that bet all in at 36000 get for making the 3 players fold?"
She gets them to fold.

Im familiar with 2 straddles from the button (Mississippi/Sleeper Straddles). Since based on your description SB acts first, this is probably a Missi straddle where action preflop starts with SB and e …

Tracking personal bad beats and suck outs

How to play against a limp call?
Kind of disagree with @raymond so i'll add my own answer.
When everyone plays really loose, i find that loosening up is quite profitable (but still tighter than the rest). IE if my opening range is a …

Is there a term for raising in Hold’em while only looking at one of the hole cards?
I think Doyle Brunson did it once on video, definitely not his standard practice. Possible if youre SB/flatting or Button/raising any Ace, but if people notice you've only looked at one card, then you …

Please advise if there was a better way to play pocket T
Preflop is ok.
Flop: I would prefer a much smaller flop bet ($0.55-$0.80) because a) TT has some showdown and im not looking to inflate the pot and b) OOP there are many bad turn/rivers, and not many …

Cash Game situation
Did some math. Basing purely on your action after the check raise,
If fold, EV = 0.
If shove, paying $73 to have 64% equity in $182 pot, or $116. EV is +$43.
If call, assume you will fold when diam …

How to play with pocket 10 in low stack situation?
If its a cash game, you should reload. If its a tournament, all-in is likely the best play.
